**Date:** April 2026
**Asset:** Exhibit 1 — "The denomination mismatch" (headcount vs. exposed wage bill by layer)
**Goal:** Get this chart in front of 20 people who can write about it, cite it, or forward it.

## The Email

**Subject line options (pick one):**

1. 90% of energy's AI-exposed wage bill is above the field
2. We ranked 404 energy jobs by AI exposure. The picture flips when you count dollars.
3. The rig floor isn't where AI hits energy first
4. Energy AI research — one chart that reframes the whole sector

**Body:**

> We benchmarked 404 energy positions on AI compressibility — the first time anyone's scored the full stack from roughneck to board director in one model.
>
> The punchline: rank the industry by headcount and physical operations dominates. Rank it by exposed dollars and the picture flips — advisory, capital markets, and corporate functions carry 90% of the exposed wage bill.
>
> The filing cabinet gets AI before the wellhead does.
>
> Full research (open dataset, published methodology): https://sunya.ai/research/decision-stack
>
> Happy to walk through the model if it's useful for anything you're working on.

## Timing & Cadence

- **Send:** Tuesday or Wednesday, 8-9 AM ET
- **Never:** Friday. Never Monday.
- **Personalization:** Change the first line for each recipient. "I saw your piece on [X]" or "Your coverage of [X] made me think you'd find this useful."
- **Follow-up (5 days later, once only):** "Wanted to make sure this landed — happy to walk through the methodology if it's useful for anything you're working on."
- **Then stop.** Don't chase.

## What Success Looks Like

- 2-3 responses (great for cold research outreach)
- 1 mention or share
- 1 conversation that leads to a call

If you get one reporter and one investor on a call, you've won.
